Vanic’s live set incites a deep emotional connection with the audience, so much so, that it inspired a proposal during his set at this year’s Moonrise Festival. That summer, Vanic turned his attention to the festival circuit, spreading vibes at Coachella, Sunset, Moonrise and Firefly Music Festival. In the first half of 2016, he made the leap from SoundCloud producer to successful touring act alongside Adventure Club, with dates across Canada. Now, with over twenty-one Hype Machine #1’s, each new mix is released to a near viral reaction. EDM-lovers began to take notice of his melodic production style, leading to the millions of streams on any given remix (for a total over 80M Soundcloud streams) and the 270K+ SoundCloud followers he has today. After the release of the critically-acclaimed “Circles,” Vanic truly settled into his trap-pop sound. Vanic’s buzz began almost three years ago after releasing a remix of Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” on SoundCloud, which instantly became a hit. Growing up a metal-head, Vanic pulls inspiration from the melodic guitar riffs he once craved, building them into an electronic soundscape. When crafting his new tracks, he began with the vocals, adding melodic themes one-by-one. The production style of his new original song holds true to that of his cult-classic mixes. pop singer, Katy Tiz, best known for her breakout hit single “The Big Bang” and its follow up, “Whistle (While You Work It).” Vanic is a pioneer of the electronic/pop-mainstream sound so prevalent on today’s airwaves.
